Classic Dark Side Of The Moon broadcast from Brighton Dome in June 1972!
Pink Floyd debuted The Dark Side Of The Moon suite live on 20 January 1972 at the Brighton Dome. Partway through, when playing ‘Money’, a lack of power led to the backing tape slowing down and going out of time, causing the group to stop. On 29 June the band broke off from recording sessions for the album to make a return visit to Brighton for a brace of shows at the Dome, to make up for the disappointment of the first public performance of the piece there failing. This 2LP set is a document of the second concert that Pink Floyd performed at the Dome in June 1972, including a performance of The Dark Side Of The Moon suite in its entirety and versions of the earlier Psychedelic freakouts 'Careful With That Axe Eugene' and 'One Of These Days'.
