Originally released in 1983, Smell Of Female was a 12” 45rpm mini-LP that captured Lux Interior (vocals), Poison Ivy (guitar), Kid Congo Powers (guitar) and Nick Knox (drums) live at the Peppermint Lounge in New York on 25 and 26 February of that same year
Comprising six tracks, “Smell OF Female” shows the Cramps in all their glory, powering through ‘Faster Pussycat’, ‘Call Of The Wighat’, ‘I Ain’t Nuthin’ But A Gorehound’, ‘Psychotic Reaction’, ‘You Got Good Taste’ and ‘Thee Most Exalted Potentate Of Love’.
