DESCRIPTION :
Origins 1971–1978 captures the sonic formation of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers in the white hot '70s era. Digging into country, rock, folk, punk and soul, this collection chronicles Tom Petty's first eight years as a recording artist through 51 tracks, including 27 unreleased, live, extended, and previously unheard tracks. All tracks are newly mixed from the original multi-tracks by Ryan Ulyate.
The deluxe set includes five 180g LPs:

And a DVD of the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test performance in 1978, a Blu-Ray Audio disc with 51 hi-res stereo, atmos and 5.1 immersive mixes, an 88-page fanzine with archival photos and liner notes by David Fricke, Bud Scoppa and Bob Harris, plus a 24” x 36” poster, collector card stickers, logo patch, and archival postcards.
