Forever My Lady is the debut album from Jodeci, a project that helped redefine early ‘90s R&B by blending gospel-rooted vocals with the edgy rhythms of new jack swing and hip-hop soul. The album features standout tracks like “Come and Talk to Me,” “Stay,” and the title track, all of which became major R&B hits and helped the group dominate the charts. Featuring production by Al B. Sure! and DeVante Swing, the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and is RIAA-certified triple platinum.
Honouring the record’s 35th anniversary, the album has been reissued on 2-LP standard black vinyl and features 5 bonus tracks, including “Come and Talk to Me (Radio Remix),” and “Forever My Lady (Live from Uptown MTV Unplugged/1993.”
