Charles Wesley Godwin's highly anticipated new album, Christian Name, his fourth album and second with Big Loud Records, is an intensely personal collection of songs. While the record is a highly personal affair – the album's title and cover come from his late grandfather, a Methodist preacher named Charles Godwin – he’s quick to note how critical a role his creative community of friends and musical collaborators played in the album’s conception.
