Formed in Chicago in 1999, Rise Against is one of modern punk rock’s most influential and enduring forces. Blending explosive, melodic hardcore with razor-sharp social and political consciousness, the band built a massive global following through early releases on Fat Wreck Chords before breaking into the mainstream with platinum-certified classics like Siren Song of the Counter Culture, The Sufferer & the Witness, and Appeal to Reason. Renowned for their fast-paced anthems—including hits like "Savior," "Prayer of the Refugee," and "Swing Life Away"—Rise Against remains deeply committed to animal rights, social justice, and grassroots activism.
