DESCRIPTION :
Pearl Jam was formed in 1990 and was a central part of the new grunge sound emerging from Seattle. As part of "The Big Four"—Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains—they helped make this new sound known worldwide. This happened before the arena tours and before the world knew what to expect.
No Safe Place was recorded at the legendary club Cabaret Metro in Chicago on March 28, 1992, and captures Pearl Jam at a pivotal stage: raw, hungry, and completely uncompromising. The recording was made just months after the album Ten was released and before the band became one of the world's biggest live acts. Here, we see Pearl Jam in an intimate setting, playing with the intensity of a band that has nothing to prove, but everything to let loose. The setlist is full of early classics like Alive, Jeremy, and Garden.
