DESCRIPTION :
The Game is the 4th album by punk band Sham 69, released in 1980. In 1980 Sham had just disbanded and re-formed within a couple of months, drafting in new drummer Mark Goldstein for this comeback. The Game rang in the '80s as a warning of the coming decade of greed and myopia. The message was, of course, right on the mark. The album sounds like their earlier recordings but has a much slicker production. A much underrated album at the time. The Game is available as a limited numbered edition of 750 individually numbered copies on 180-gram translucent red coloured vinyl.
