Produced by Rick Rubin, the album showcased the group’s unique sound and the genre’s evolution. The worldwide smash, "Walk This Way," featuring Aerosmith, reached #4 on the Billboard pop charts and solidified RUN DMC’s status as MTV idols. Other classic singles include "You Be Illin," "It’s Tricky," "Peter Piper," and "My Adidas." Raising Hell’s energetic, charismatic, and innovative sound captivated fans and signaled the beginning of the Golden Era of rap music, with its sound remaining fresh today.
