Alexisonfire "Old Crows / Young Cardinals"

Alexisonfire's third album Crisis helped elevate the band out of a scene and into their own lane, and 2009's Old Crows / Young Cardinals drew the line in the sand that this will never be a band that lives in the past. It's right there in the chorus of the first song ("We are not the kid we used to be/Stop wishing for yesterday"), and it's there in the music, which was Alexisonfire's most experimental and genre-defying yet. Bold, risk-taking albums are often the ones that age the best, and Old Crows / Young Cardinals is no exception.
