DESCRIPTION :
Greenland, the seventh album by Cracker, arrives on vinyl for the first time on a Limited Edition Orange Eco Mix Double LP. Cracker was formed in 1990 by David Lowery and Johnny Hickman. The main lineup on Greenland includes some of it's longest standing members, Frank Funaro on drums, Kenny Margolis on keyboards and Victor Krummenacher on bass. A truly international affair, Greenland takes us from Californian rock & roll, to space-age-reverb-drenched Moroccan inspired riffs. This edition also includes the previously unreleased track 'I Know Your Sister, She's Big in Japan', penned by Lowery and Hickman and recorded during the original album sessions. Cracker continue to play live through 2026 in the US and Europe, and are proud to present the Greenland reissues off the back of their 'Alternative History: A Cracker Retrospective' from 2024. Expect the same classic Cracker alt-country-rock n' roll guitar work set against the idiosyncratic lyricism that set both Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven on their own journeys to cult status. Or to Greenland as it were. This Orange Eco Mix LP is created using yellow and orange recycled PVC material and is manufactured using 100% renewable energy. The colors may vary but you're helping to save the planet.
