Lana Del Rey "Honeymoon"
FORMAT | Double LP
Delivered quickly on the heels of 2014's acclaimed Ultraviolence, Honeymoon finds Lana Del Rey expanding her collaborative horizons as she brings in Mark Ronson, and also brings back Rick Nowels, a collaborator on her 2012 debut, Born to Die. Parts of Honeymoon revive the feel of "Summertime Sadness," including first single "High by the Beach," and other song titles certainly emphasize LDR's knowing melancholic glamour, including "God Knows I Tried," "The Blackest Day," and "Art Deco." Finally, Lana Del Rey closes out the album with a cover of Nina Simone's "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.
